SECTION 08 / ABOUT

About This Site

An independent editorial project on the ipamorelin research literature.

SECTION 01 / WHAT THIS SITE IS

What This Site Is

Medicine Ipamorelin is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on ipamorelin. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.

The compound ipamorelin has accumulated a focused research record since its first characterization in 1998 — a selectivity paper with more than 189 citations, multiple bone and body composition studies in rodents, a GI motility rodent study, and one Phase 2 human trial. That literature is what this site documents.

Every quantitative claim on this site is cited to a published study. We do not include findings we cannot trace to the peer-reviewed record. We name data gaps — for example, the absence of controlled human GH-release or anabolic data for ipamorelin — explicitly and without hedging.

SECTION 02 / THE MODIFIER

The 'Medicine' in the Name

The domain modifier 'medicine' is editorial framing — a positioning relative to the scientific literature, not a claim about the site's services. This site is not a pharmaceutical service. It does not prescribe, compound, or dispense any compound. The modifier indicates our editorial commitment to reading this literature as a rigorous, clinical-quality digest — not as a vendor bulletin, a forum anecdote catalog, or an advocacy site.

Medicine Ipamorelin is a reading room. The 'medicine' in the name signals the register of the reading, not a medical service behind it.

SECTION 03 / WHAT WE DO NOT DO

What We Do Not Do

We do not recommend doses. Dose descriptions on this site are drawn from published research protocols — what was administered to a specific species at a specific dose by a specific route in a published study. They are not recommendations for human use.

We do not sell any product. We have no financial relationship with any supplier, pharmacy, or clinic. We do not accept advertising from compound suppliers.

We do not invent citations. If a claim does not appear in the peer-reviewed literature, we do not publish it. When the human data is absent — as it largely is for ipamorelin's anabolic and GH-releasing endpoints — we say so directly.

We do not use competitor brand names. All compound names on this site are INN/USAN names. We do not name registered pharmaceutical brands.

SECTION 04 / EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Editorial Standards

Sources cited on this site are PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed journal articles, ClinicalTrials.gov entries, NIH reference pages, and FDA regulatory announcements. Every PubMed ID and DOI is verified to a real, accessible entry at the time of publication.

This site is updated periodically as the literature evolves. The ipamorelin regulatory landscape — FDA 503A/503B compounding classification — has shifted multiple times since 2023 and is actively monitored. When the published record changes materially, we update the relevant pages.

Contact information is on the contact page. We welcome corrections from researchers who identify factual errors in our citations or summaries.
